Rugeley and Brereton Churches Together

Churches Together New Neighbour Welcome Pack
Churches Together have produced a ‘Welcome Pack’ for people moving into the area, with information about all the churches in Rugeley and useful local information. If you see someone moving into your road please Contact us, and we can either arrange to give you a pack to give to your new neighbour or for another member of the church to do so. Rev Michael Newman has written a warm welcome letter with the pack and it would be lovely if we can also, personally, welcome the new family to our locality.

Second Wednesday of alternate months: 7.30 pm - Rugeley and Brereton Churches Together Meeting at St. Paul's Methodist Church, Rugeley.
Next meeting Wednesday 11th April.

We were excited by the prospect of a food bank being introduced to our area, and it seems that there are many offers of help. As things are being set up we felt that a gift of money would be useful and it was unanimously decided that we should make a gift of £100 to the project from Churches Together. Once the scheme is up and running many people seemed willing to offer practical help.

Our thanks go to The Community Church for their initiative in getting this idea of the ground. Our reflections in February were led by Trevor who spoke inspiringly from Romans 12 and Ephesians 5. We are all part of the same body – what better way to describe the Church of Jesus working together.

We have been meeting bi monthly for some time now and perhaps it is time for us to consider how we are going to move forward. The only way we can be sure of what our Lord wants from us is to ask Him. Come and join with us as we seek His council.
